Welcome to Globelink UK Ltd.  We are an independent supplier of security solutions, services and infrastructure to the public, commercial and private sectors.

We define security (like most worthwhile things) as a goal.  We do that in the following way;

The goal of security is to be free from worry, because the impact of any likely risk has been made acceptable to you.

If security is a goal, then you need a process better than trial and error, to help acheive this goal.  For us a simple process as a starting point to acheive this, is to;

• Assess the likely attacks, dangers or risks that you are exposed to.
• Determine the likely impact of these attacks, dangers or risks to you.
• Determine which attacks, dangers or risks you judge to have unacceptable impacts.
• Implement the measures required to reduce the likely impacts to an acceptable level.
• Repeat

At Globelink UK we have separate sections for

• the risks and their likely impacts to different types of compaies,
• the measures and what they can do to address these risks, 
• the kinds of products and services that provide these security measures, and
• the suppliers we have that provide some unique solutions.

We choose our suppliers and their products from what we feel is the innovative and alternate side of the security provider market.   There are a host of suppliers for the mainstream and dominant security solutions.  The threat landscape is fast developing.   Another way to say the same thing, is that hackers (both amateur and professional) are much better equipped and informed every successive year.   The attacks are smarter and more innovative.  Therefore we feel it is wise to try and supply the more innovative products that do not emerge from dominant suppliers. 

Security innovation is usually acquired by larger companies, not developed by them.  So we supply products from companies that tend to get aquired by larger companies

• Astaro by Sophos,
• Phion by Barracuda, and
• EmailSystems by Webroot.

So we are always on the lookout for new interesing and alternate products.
